It may be well-made and using sturdy parts and it may be overall durable, but I found that this thing needs to improve its usability. At least to me, in the current form, it requires TLC not to avoid breaking it but to save myself from frustration. The head connects to the arm with 4 holes on the back. It is easy to attach,but also easy to come off, which can be a nuisance especially when you need to adjust the angle of the head while the base is attached to the car because the head comes off when you don't want it to! When this happens, you have to either (1) dismantle the whole thing, attach the head, then re-attach the base (and readjust whatever that got moved around during the process) or (2) try to attach the head without looking at the back (and parts can move around during this process, too). The adhesive on the cushion pads to hole the sides of a phone are not very secure/strong -- the pads easily come/peel off. When you are in a rush, these issues are frustrating.A much cheaper version of an otterbox that still works
