You recognize that at the time of purchase, and you'll be reminded of that when the product arrives. It is not going to win any design awards. It is made of cheap plastic, is totally lacking in design appeal, and all the various parts and adjustments just feel kind of cheap and clunky. And yet... it all works decently!To be honest, I wasn't expecting this to remain adhered to my windshield, but it has for several days now. On day 1, I actually moved it around a bit to see if that might ruin the adhesion, but it did not. Making adjustments isn't smooth or elegant, but it is relatively easy to adjust this to fit your needs, and securing and releasing your camera is very quick & easy.My only real concern with this is the overall build quality doesn't seem great. It is too soon for me to tell. If I needed a phone mount for heavy daily use (e.g. a Lyft/Uber driver) and was regularly popping my phone in & out of the mount daily, I'd probably opt for a name brand with better build quality and design. But for casual use, this works as advertised and is meeting my needs just fine (at a price that will leave some extra $$ in your pocket).
